Turbo C++ 3.0


     This is a C++ compiler and an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and computer language originally from Borland. Distributed by Embarcadero Technologies, which acquired all of Borland's compiler tools with the purchase of its CodeGear divison in 2008. The first release of Turbo C++ was made available during the MS-DOS reign on personal computers.
Minimum System Requirements:

• Hardware
• Turbo C requires a 100 percent IBM-compatible personal computer (PC), including the IBM PC-XT (eXtended Technology) and the IBM PC-AT (Advanced Technology) models.

• Operating System
• It also requires the MS-DOS version 2.0 or greater. It is not compatible with Microsoft Windows.

• Memory
• Turbo C necessitates that 384K of the first 512K of random access memory (RAM) is free and available to the program.

Bloodshed Dev-C++

     Bloodshed Dev-C++ is a full-featured IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for the C/C++ programming language. It uses Mingw port of GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) as it's compiler. Dev-C++ can also be used in combination with Cygwin or any other GCC based compiler.

Minimum System Requirements:

• Windows 95 or higher.
• 32 MB of RAM.
• The executables compiled by Dev-C++ will need MSVCRT.DLL (comes with Windows 95 OSR 2 or higher).
